• Richard & Sons tables are designed to withstand everyday use; however normal wear and tear is reflective of how well you maintain your items.
• Use mild soap, water, and a soft undyed cloth as needed for daily cleaning. Never use acetone based products or other harsh chemicals to clean your table. 
• Occasionally dust lacquered wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and non-wax furniture polish to keep finishes looking their best.
• Follow product use instructions carefully for best results. Do not over apply as this could damage finishes.
• Our durable lacquer finishes are UV-blocking, however you should avoid placing indoor wood furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause the wood to swell which can cause cracking or changes in wood finishes.
• When assembling your new wood furnishings, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking in wood surfaces.
• Remove dirt from wood surfaces using a clean, damp, undyed cloth. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
• Although our finishes are water-resistant, to prevent moisture damage, wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth. As with all wood furniture, It is best practice to use coasters when necessary.
• Do not clean wood surfaces using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and wood surfaces.
• Our tables are crafted from natural materials with hand-applied finishes. Each table may vary in color, pattern, shape, and texture, making each item truly unique.
• Natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other organic features that will not affect the quality or performance of your piece.
• Furniture made from natural wood may shift slightly due to temperature and humidity. This is normal and should be expected from season to season.
• Never place hot dishes directly on wood surfaces as this could cause scorching or permanently mark the finish. Always use heatpads when placing hot pans or dishes directly on the table.

With meticulous dedication to craftsmanship, the Aspen table is made from real wood, with your custom choice of stain. Because of this, our build-time is estimated to be between 12-16 weeks.

 

Once construction is complete, your items will typically be scheduled for delivery within 3-10 days after shipping.
